Finally a proper little winter storm. The waves weren’t massive but with winds blowing 60 – 90mph there was a lot of energy in the sea.
The new year has brought more rain and strong wind and by the afternoon was gale force and more than enough to blow anyones new year cobwebs away.
With a run of south and south west swell and wind, harlyn has been the place to surf all Christmas.
There has been a fair bit of swell so we took an early drive up to surf Lynmouth.
Nice little winter peaks in my favourite sheltered spot.
